The engine was knocking pretty bad with the stock tune file in it. It was still making good power due to how efficient these new V8´s are but it makes you think about how bad our pump fuel is.

I’m happy to say that this LT1 is no longer knocking.

This one is our motorsport version of a custom built engine harness. It includes 2 layers of concentric twisting, one MS3476A22 55 pins connector, one raychem 222k163 90 degree boot and some RT125 to make the harness waterproof. Nothing too fancy here as we want to keep things simple for our rally car.
We had to replace the engine harness because the serpentine belt pretty much cut the other one in half during a rally stage.
Thank god our MoTeC M130 ecu was able to bring the car back into the service area with the inlet manifold pressure estimate tuning strategy. A case where another ecu would of turned the car off.
Thanks again to @racespec @motecusa @moteccan for the supplies.

So we ended this weekend with satisfying results considering we ran the historic #markkualen car. It is 50 years old and took it like a champ (Volvo) we ended the last two stages of the race with no front shocks😬!! I’d like to thank my team for the countless hours of work and dedication. Rallies are wild and everyone on the team contributed to finishing this weekend!! Great job and 🙏 you!! This was probably the last rally for this car 🥺🥺 but our 240 is undergoing a heart transplant and will be ready for shredding soon 🤘😎. Also thank you to all of those who sent me pictures of the 142 and the RX7. I truly appreciate it since we don’t have many opportunities to catch our own in action! Thank you to the @crcrally Team of volunteers for putting up a great event!! Ps had to throw in @malswannrally ‘s #rx7fb he experienced some mechanical issues but it was good to see you Mal and we are glad you’re driving the pants off it. We had problems all day with belts snapping. Not to mention we patched the motor 3 days before in order to make it here today. Huge thanks to all involved you know who you are!
